I was pleasantly surprised! One of the best museums I've seen. Hanna, gave me a warm reception and is quite knowledgable about the hotel building and surrounding communities. If you enjoy history, fine, old furniture and artifacts, you will LOVE this! And there is something for the children throughout the (now) 3 storied exhibit. The exhibits rotate, too, and there is a carriage house out back and a jail down the street and there are plans to expand to other buildings over the next 2 years. A small donation is requested and it is well worth your time. Especially if you have children of 5 years and older!
Really great museum to bring your kids, they have a lot to look at and for your kids to interact with! The staff is super nice and will gladly answer any questions you have and show you to anything you may need or want. The gift shop is also really nice to get a little something for you or someone you love.
